IMPORTANT UPDATE- PLEASE READ There have been numerous "credit repair" companies that have been increasing consumers credit scores by adding authorized user credit card accounts to their credit reports. Effective in the next 2 months, the Credit Bureaus are fixing this loophole in the credit system so that when calculating the consumer's credit score, it will completely ignore these type of accounts. This is being done because if the authorized user accounts are considered, it is not a true picture of the consumer's own credit history. Also, until this is fixed by the Credit Bureaus, some Lenders are declining the consumer's loan if they have authorized user accounts on their credit report. So if you are using a "Credit Repair" company, please do not let them talk you into adding authorized user accounts to your credit report as it will not help you anymore. Also, please don't be fooled by Mortgage Companies telling you the current interest rates are as low as 4% or less. These rates, if available, are adjustable interest rates not fixed term rates. Your Choice Mortgage will never "tease" you with these ridiculously low adjustable interest rates. We offer fixed term interest rates and we do offer adjustable rates, but these adjustable rates are, in my opinion for borrowers who will relocate or upgrade to a larger home within 3 to 5 years. They are not for getting a low payment and then refinancing after the fixed period. You can't predict what the interest rates will be at that time and you may end up with a much higher interest rate and payment or you may have a financial hardship within that time and you might not be able to refinance at the end of the fixed period.
